Happy Saturday, friends!  It’s a rainy day here in Houston and we are packing up to go visit my parents.  Knox is so excited that he is already dressed and packed not so patiently waiting for the rest of the family to catch up! ha!  In other news, I am having so much fun sharing our favorite links from around the web.  I have so many blogs that I love to read and I love finding inspiration around the web from parenting tips to lust worthy vacation destinations to share with you all.  If you ever read anything you know I would love, send me the link on social and it might make our Weekend Reading Round-up!  As always, thanks for visiting and making our jobs so fun! xo

1. Protecting Your Time – This is article by Grace hit close to home for me.  As a wife, mother of two littles ones and a small business owner, time is a luxury I simply don’t have.  I try to cram as much as I can into the morning hours when I have help with the boys, but it always amazes me how quickly the morning can fly by.  On sometimes I find myself running between meetings, calls and shoots and I never even had time to sit at my computer to respond to emails or actually knock anything off my to-do list.  I am really trying to focus on better time blocking this year to make the most out of my limited time.  You can also read other helpful ways we are finding more time in our day here.

2.The One Ingredient You Should Have at Every Meal – This article resonated with me as I have made a conscious effort to add more greens into my daily meals.  I use to ask myself ‘What sounds good?’ when thinking about my next meal and now I try to ask myself ‘What is the healthiest option to make me feel good?’  This slight adjustment in attitude has helped tremendously and I surprisingly don’t ever feel like I am missing out on much.

3. 5 Best Places To Travel in February – For those of you who started following back in 2011 when I started blogging, I am sure you have noticed how drastically our travel schedule has changed.  When I started this blog FMK was in business school so we took advantage of every break to go somewhere exciting – Greece, China and Japan were definitely my favorites!  Since adding two kids and a job with a crazy travel schedule itself, I can’t even believe how little we traveled in 2017! (Just a quick weekend getaway and a family trip to Colorado.)  I grew up with the luxury of having a father that was a commercial airline pilot so traveling has always been part of me.  I am excited to plan a few trips this year and this list has me itching to take off sooner rather than later!  Follow #HarpersTravels for a fun look back at all our trips + keep following along for what we have in store this year.

4. Step Inside The Pinterest-Worthy LA Home Of Jaclyn Johnson – Jaclyn Johnson of Create and Cultivate is one of those people who leaves you wondering how she accomplishes it all.  And now you can add her gorgeous home to the list of things to admire from this Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. I had the honor of speaking on three Create and Cultivate panels and every time I get the chance to sit down with Jaclyn and witness first hand what she has accomplished I am in awe.  Did I mention she is also adorable, fun and extremely warm?  You will certainly want to settle in for a glass of rose on her dreaming back porch!

5. Weekend Sale: The Gap – There are several great sales going on this weekend, but one that stood out is the Gap.  This is where I shop for so much of the boys clothes – they have the best jeans, play shirts and accessories!  Other noteworthy sales are J.Crew and Net-a-porter.
