Sip and See of baby Millie

In honor of Millie’s six month birthday, we finally found a way to celebrate her (and her future BFFs) in a safe way. I hosted a small Sip and See for Millie and two of my best friends who also had babies during the on-going Covid pandemic. I’m sharing some pictures and details with you all here in case you are looking for little ways to celebrate a special occasion during these unprecedented times.

Our sweet Millie was born on March 18th, just one week after Knox’s school closed and the world began shutting down. It’s been an emotion and interesting six months, to say the least! (But that is a different post for a different day.). And one of the hardest parts of the pandemic has been not getting to celebrate special occasions with friends and family.

Three of my best college friends (including myself) delivered babies in the last six months. With schools reopening, I thought it was finally time to get us all together to meet the babies and safely celebrate that we have all made it this far! So, I invited seven of my besties over for an outdoor brunch catered by Tres Market.

Tres Market made the cutest pre-plated, individually wrapped brunch plates, champagne and cookie party favors us to enjoy. It made for the easiest planning and clean up and was just as delicious and filling as it was smart and easy! A total win-win!

Even though the occasion was to celebrate the babies, I also wanted to celebrate my friends. A group of moms that has been so strong during all the ups and downs of quarantine, home-school and everything else that has come our way the last six months. I had Cherry here to treat all the girls to manicures and pedicures, for many, it was the first time they had taken time for themselves in all these months!

It was so good for the soul to have us all back together and to see the sweet little additions to our group. If there is one thing I have learned from all this, it is that I promise to never take these moments for granted again.

Thank you to Tres Market for the amazing food and to Cherry for pampering us! Get 15% off your first service with code: MissMillie
