To a peek inside the home of Caroline of House of Harper. Caroline shares an update to her boys bedroom

I am excited to finally photograph and share the boys’ bedroom with you all. This room was previously just Knox’s room, but about 6 months ago, they boys started begging to spend the night together so we would pull out Knox’s trundle bed for Andrew to sleep on. Once we realized this was more than just a phase, I decided to order an actual bed and officially make it ‘their’ room.

Keep reading to see the full room and for all the details and links to everything I bought for the space.

You will notice a lot of the furniture and decor is the same from Knox’s nursery, but I did make a few big purchases to accommodate both the boys. We obviously needed a second twin bed, but Knox’s bed was discontinued so I couldn’t find it’s match. I love the navy nailhead trim beds I ordered online. They were reasonable and have been great! They also needed a bigger dresser to accommodate both their clothes and I love how this grey one takes up the entire space between their beds so it doubles as their night stands. I found all their pillows at HomeGoods with the exception of the custom Euro sham I had made to match their curtains. (I bought the navy buffalo check fabric at a local fabric store and had the curtains and pillows made.) Lasty, I updated the walls with their initials above their beds and a bulletin board for each of them. Knox always comes home with so many things he is proud of and we need a proper place to display his awards, art and treasures! They both love adding things to their special boards. 😉 Their bedding is Serena & Lily and it is so soft and comfortable!

See the room before when it was just Knox’s room here. You can also find Andrew’s nursery here.
