This week (and every week!) we encourage you to participate in our Kindness Challenge. With so much negativity and tragedy in the world, a simple act of kindness can go a long way in helping to restore hope and a sense of community. You know the saying that everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle? With these small gestures, you can make a difference in someone’s life; you might not ever realize the impact you made on them. Hopefully that person will pay it forward, and give a little ray of sunshine to someone else who needs encouragement.

 1. The Important Difference Between Dieting and Eating Healthy: I loved this Man Repeller article discussing dieting vs. eating healthy, which are all -too-frequently conflated.  I love this quote in particular, “Weight-loss dieting is limiting, but healthy eating is FREEING.”

2. 18 Ways to Get Organized in 2018: We always appreciate Brighton’s thoughtful content and are especially motivated by her list of 18 ways to get organized in 2018.  Also, we have major envy of her beautifully organized, perfectly pinterest worthy pantry!

3. Madewell’s Can’t Miss Sale + New Arrivals: It’s no secret we are major Madewell fans over here.  They just released some perfect transition pieces and are having a major sale to celebrate.  We are dying for a custom denim jacket, this bo-ho dress and this perfect denim skirt.

4. Billion-Dollar Bumble: How Whitney Wolfe Built Americas Fastest Growing Dating App: I always love a good comeback story and this seems to be the ultimate one in the tech space today.  After leaving the Tinder app after some controversy, Whitney Wolfe Heard started her own women-centric dating ap which is now America’s fastest-growing dating-app company and is currently valued at $1 billion.  That’s billion with a B and she isn’t even thirty, yet.

5. Better Mom Without Your Phone?: This writer dissects her parenting personality when she is on her phone vs. off her phone and it is must read for every mom in today’s smartphone centric society because, as the article states, “despite the benefits that smartphones have to offer, they might be the biggest problem facing parents today”.
