Framebridge Frame |Blue Coral Lamp | Veuve Matchbox Cover | Nate Berkus Basket| Pineapple Ice Bucket | Italian Throw | Mimosa Candle | Stripe Indoor/Outdoor Bolster | Blue & White Garden Stool | Kid’s Adirondack Chair

Summer is almost here, y’all! This week I’m finally making an effort to switch out a few decor pieces to brighten up my home. One of the easiest tricks I’ve learned is to just replace a sidetable for a colorful garden stool or switching out dark, heavy lamps to a brighter option (love this blue coral lamp). I’m also planning on finally getting some art framed and hung up in our newly painted bedroom. For custom framing I love Framebridge, I’ve used the company several times (most recently for my son’s room), and the quality is excellent! I think the bamboo detailing in the Mandalay frame would be perfect not only for summer but year around. I’ve rounded up a few other home items I’m loving, and they’re all under $150! Happy shopping!

Mara Hoffman Tie Front Dress

Caroline styles a Mara Hoffman tie front dress for vacation << HOUSE of HARPER

This Mara Hoffman tie front dress just screams summer vacation.  I ordered it during the Shopbop sale, but wasn’t sure I could pull off the tie front.  I was pleasantly surprised how flattering and modest it was when it arrived.

weekend reading

weekend reading 3

Happy Saturday! I hope you have some exciting plans for today, or just glad to have no plans at all (like me). Either way, get your day started with some weekend reading…

This week I got sucked back into Pinterest, and now I can’t stop pinning! I love everything about this office space Caroline pinned. You should follow House of Harper if you don’t already!

Even if you’re not a mom, I think you’d enjoy this hilarious video of moms trying on swimsuits. I can relate to these ladies so much.

Between Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day, I feel like I’ve been indulging a little too much on the weekends. Think endless margaritas and queso. This weekend I’m committing to a 3-day detox to reset my body and hopefully kick start a summer of healthy eating. I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about lettuce wrapped turkey burgers.

Sam launched her fourth Could I Have That? Mini. The “mini” magazine does a beautiful job covering style, clean beauty, recipes, and so much more. It’s worth a read!

I didn’t think I needed a new desk chair, but then I saw this Pottery Barn beauty. The rattan and swivel seat make for a unique alternative to boring office chairs. And it actually looks comfortable!

Instagram launched face filters this week! If you’re still unsure about Instagram Story, settle in because it isn’t going anywhere. I’m still learning to navigate the feature myself and found these tips on how to get creative on ‘story‘ helpful.
