It’s Kitchen Reveal Day! This is probably the room I get the most questions about so I am excited to finally share all the images and source links in one easy reference spot for you.

This was one of the areas of the house we had to completely rework in the remodel. We had plans drawn for this space to open the kitchen up into the family room for a more open concept (the original kitchen was off the dining room with a breakfast room centered with the family room). When we centered the kitchen with the family room, this left space between our new kitchen and the original dinning room so we were able to create a pass-through wet bar and a walk in butler’s pantry – one of the best changes we made to the house, in my opinion!

Today’s home tour is our formal dining room, a personal favorite room in our home! We maintained the original layout of a traditional ranch style home in our neighborhood during the renovation and kept the formal living and dining room just off the front entry. In this room, we only had to make small cosmetic changes with fresh wallpaper and a new light fixture. Our old dining room furniture from our previous home fit perfectly in the space for an easy and inexpensive move. The only things I you may notice are different are the dinning chairs I found at a consignment furniture store (which we recovered in pink performance fabric) and this gorgeous Italian mirror that was also a consignment store score!

I am so excited for today’s Talk Shop because we are featuring HOUSE of HARPER’s very own Kathryn Worsham Humphries and her partner Carla Nikitaidis. Kathryn and I met back in 2017 after we both moved to Houston after our time in New York City. I immediately saw what a bright and driven person she was and hired her to help me take HoH to the next level. We spent two fun and successful years working side-by-side to grow the HOUSE of HARPER audience, landed (multiple) dream brand partners, launched two monthly interview series – Talk Shop and Mom Crush – and hosted in-person events for women to come together to learn, network and grow… just to name a few.

We had a fun and exciting run, but I couldn’t be more thrilled for Kathryn’s latest brain child, All You Need Method. Their mission is simple: to give small business owners, solopreneurs, and startup founders the tools you need to grow your business and build a lasting brand.

Keep reading to learn more about these two entrepreneurs and how they are changing the PR game.
