This week I got to talk about my favorite Spring wedding guest fashion trends on Houston Life and I wanted to share them you! One of my favorite local boutiques Tootsies provided four amazing outfits to go along with each trend, and I’m tempted to buy each one! Tropical Prints

Of course florals aren’t groundbreaking for Spring, but I do love all of the tropical prints this season. Palm prints are in and perfect for destination weddings and any other summer soiree you have on the calendar.

Crochet Details

I love that crochet is making a comeback this season on everything from dresses to purses. It has a fun, retro vibe that is both playful and sophisticated. A crochet dress would be perfect for a daytime or early evening outdoor wedding.

Sorbet Colors

Sorbet is my favorite color trend this season. Instead of the usual soft pastels, this spring’s palette also includes bright lime, lemon, and peach. I’m all about these cheerful hues, especially for wedding celebrations!

Hair Accessories

I’m happy to tell all of you who used to live for hair barrettes and headbands that you can wear them again with full confidence! There are so many cute hair accessories out right now, and many are formal enough for weddings. From statement pearl headbands to oversized barrettes and leopard bows, these can transform any basic dress into a statement look. Even fascinators are making an appearance on shelves this Spring, which is definitely a nod to our royal obsession with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton!

Lamé Fabric

If you’re looking to make a statement at a Spring wedding, be sure to embrace the lamé trend. This shiny material makes for a gorgeous dress or even a bold pant suit. When paired with a poof sleeve, like the look I wore for the segment, it feels like an ’80s power look (in the best way!).
