I shared with you the before pictures of our new home and now I am so thrilled to invite you inside! After five months of renovations and almost a year of getting settled, I finally had our home photographed to round up all the resources in one easy place for you!

I LOVE a proper entry in a home. It is the place your guest will make their first impression of your personal style so it is a small space to pack big personality. (And considering the entry in our first home is still my most pinned image and popular blog post, I think you agree!)

You will recognize the console table and burl wood stools from our first home as they were actually in our living room in our last house. The burl stools got a mini make-over with the left over fabric from our dining room chairs and I absolutely LOVE the pop of pink in here! The mirror also moved with us and was used in our entry before, as well. I love how the size of the mirror really makes the entry feel bright and the ceilings feel higher. The lamps are very similar to the blue and white lamps you saw in our last entry, but they got an upgrade! These are the Ralph Lauren Lamps from Circa Lighting with pretty custom shades (shade sourced by Jennifer Barron) to add another layer of pattern and attention to detail. The little Aerin gold dish has proven to be the perfect accessory for holding keys and mask this year.

I love a good wallpaper moment in small spaces like an entry and powder bath because it is a fun way to really make a statement, but doesn’t seem too overwhelming or busy. Jennifer Barron, who I worked with on the interior design, suggested this beautiful print and I fell in love with the classic pattern! I love how the blue and green in the wallpaper is preview of what is to come in the family room!

The gold accessories really keep the space feeling young and fresh, in my opinion. 😉 I had this Aerin Chandalier from Circa Lighting saved to my mood boards for so long, but it is even better in person! The two gold framed art pieces were gifts from New Orleans based artist, Alexis Walters. I was an Instagram fan of hers for a while before I had the pleasure of meeting her when she was in Houston. She is so kind and incredibly generous! Every time I see one of her pieces the colors and details just make me happy. I am so honored to have her work in our home.

Lastly, you may notice two different rugs in the images above. The first one was on loan for our photoshoot while we waited on the made-to-order Turkish rug from Lindsey Meyer to arrive.

What is your favorite detail in this space?
