To be honest, I haven’t shopped at ModCloth in years but after seeing Mackenzie in this fit and flare dress, I immediately went to the site and found a few dresses perfect for Sundays. My favorite is this blue and white floral dress.
This year I’m hoping to impress my friends by baking Ina’s Flag Cake. I’m not exactly good at baking, but her recipe looks easy enough for a novice like me!
Caroline shared her outdoor space on the blog this week! It’s even more charming in person, and even has me inspired to finally fix up my own patio.
Call me old-fashioned, but I still subscribe to magazines in the mail. My husband likes to read his Sports Illustrated on the iPad, while I prefer my House Beautiful or Vogue in print. Amazon is running deals this week, and some magazine subscriptions are as low as $5. That is basically what you pay at the airport or grocery store!
I hate fixing my hair. It’s on the finer side, but wavy enough that I have to use heat for styling. I read Into The Gloss’s review on the Amika Hair Straightening Brush, and I’m intrigued. Apparently, you just brush your hair like normal, and you’re on your way to straighter, shinier hair! This could be a game-changer!
