{Show the Hope Echinacea Print Dress c/0 Julie Haus }

I am so excited to announce my first give away!  I have partnered with Julie Haus to bring one lucky subscriber a Show the Hope dress in the beautiful Echinacea Print.  All you have to do to enter is subscribe to SCITC via Google Friend Connect and leave a comment on this post. (If you are already subscribed, you just need to leave a comment on this post.) Contest ends Tuesday, June 21st at midnight.

I chose to photograph the dress in front of Belvedere Castle in Central Park to capture the ethereal feel of the dress.  In my pictures, the dress is left to flow freely so you can get a complete feel for the cut of the dress and the beauty of the print, but it can also be worn with the matching fabric belt tied around your waist as seen here.  (You can see the belt tied around my bun.)

Details about the dress: 100% Silk.  Made from a custom digital print of an Echinacea flower. Echinacea, according to some medical studies, has been able to increase white blood cell counts in some cancer patients. Julie Haus will donate $50 to fight cancer with every dress purchased. ($365 value, $298 retail)  For purchase and information, read more about the dress here.
