J. McLaughlin isn’t a new brand, they have been sharing their classic collections since 1977, but it was just three short years ago when Texas got the first Brooklyn based brick and mortar right here in the fashionable River Oaks Shopping Center, now one of their 100 locations. I got some friends and local influencers together on Tuesday night to shop the latest collections just in time for summer!
The brand resonates perfectly with the quintessential southern lady for it’s traditional styles made with world-class quality silks, sporty cottons and lightweight cashmere. You can find everything from vibrant solids to statement-making prints hanging next to feathered minis and detailed embroidery that somehow all mix and match for a winning combination.
But it isn’t just the clothes that I have come to love, the accessories alone are worth taking a visit to the website or your local store. I particularly love the leather saddlebag I have been carrying lately. I can’t event count how many people have stopped to ask me where to get it! But I also love the adorable wicker bags that are best described as nostalgic, taking you back to another decade.
