You know when you buy a new piece of clothing and want to wear it as often as possible? That’s how I’m feeling about this pretty blue top by my talented friend Hunter Bell. As always, she’s nailed it with another classic piece that is the perfect amount of feminine and super easy to style up or dress down. (Side note: this is not a sponsored post, I just genuinely love Hunter Bell clothing, and she also happens to be a great friend and neighbor!)

I feel like I’ve been living in this top as of late, and I’ve found a couple of great ways to style it so that it feels like a totally different piece (and so people don’t notice I live in the same clothing!). Read on below for my styling tips and how to get the most wears of your favorite new purchases!

At this point in life, I gravitate towards classic pieces that can be worn again and again. Between being a mom and running a business, I don’t have too much time to think about what I’m going to wear, so I love having staples in my closet that are super versatile and can be worn in many different ways. I love this blue top because it’s a classic, but the puff sleeves give it a modern twist. (Sorry!  Top is sold out, but there are so many other cute ones here + I love this similar style!)  For casual days at the office and running around town, I love pairing it with denim. It looks chic and pulled together — even when wearing it with distressed Levi’s and a pair of flats! For events and more formal meetings, I love how this blouse looks when paired with a bold A-line midi skirt. It’s a completely different look — even when worn with the same shoes and accessories.

When you buy a favorite new piece, do you tend to wear it on repeat like me? Or do you like to save it for special occasions? I’d love to hear in the comments below! xo
