RESET + REFRESH

At the end of a 12-hour day when I have juggled running HOUSE of HARPER and trying to keep up with our 1.5-year-old son, Knox – I need an escape.  With the sun setting at 8:30pm in the summer, this means I still have an hour of daylight after Knox’s bedtime to fit in a little stretching + yoga and simply stopping to admire the sunset.

I am in the beginning of my second trimester with baby #2 and finally feeling like a little exercise and stretching is exactly what my body needs to reset and refuel.  I would be completely lying if I told you this is a regular habit, but it is something I am certainly trying to make more of a priority.  My yoga skills are definitely beginner level with a dash of lingering ex-cheerleader (embarrassing, but true).
