MINIMAL COFFEE TABLE (4)
Today, I am sharing the last of my Coffee Table Diaries series (see the first and second post here). This version is what I call the “livable” layout. I received several comments on the Stacked version about how it wouldn’t work with children, etc. so I wanted to share an easy styling solution that is both pretty and functional.

If you are like us and only have one living room, it is important to make your space reflect your personality and lifestyle. You need to be able to live in your home comfortably – don’t treat it like a museum.

I love displaying our things in trays because it keeps things organized and less cluttered, but also because it keeps things very mobile. If I need to clear the coffee table for dinner (Yes, sometimes we eat dinner on the sofa.) Then I can easily pick up the tray and we’re all set!

Fresh flowers simply make me happy.  In New York City when you can buy a bundle of hydrangea on the street for $4, why not?!

How do you keep your home stylish and functional? With a little one growing up quicker than I would like, I know I will be finding more ways to ‘baby proof’ our apartment in the upcoming years.  I would love to hear your tips + tricks!
