I'll never tire of snapping pictures of our Peggy Martin roses. 🌸 This was just a plain, large white garage wall and now it's my favorite part of our back yard! FAQ: This wall is facing east and gets partial shade in the morning. This is a very fast growing vine (faster than our star jasmine). It only blooms the months of March - April (in Houston), the rest of the year it is just a green ivy. We have a sprinkler in the flower bed, but other than that we don't do anything special to take care of it (other than trim it back when it gets too long). We planted ours in October 2020 and by March 2021 it had grown half way up the wire. On the one year mark, it was completely grown. This vine has survived every freeze and drought and has not had to be replanted since 2020 (unlike the rest of our landscaping)! Fun fact: Peggy Martins rose (😉) in fame after surviving Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Let me know if I didn't answer one of your questions!

Decorating this Texas farmhouse, just outside of Roundtop, was such a fun and different creative project for me. I loved turning this 100-year-old home into an updated retreat for the next family to make many memories to cherish for the years to come. (Property has sold.) #farmhouse #roundtop #weekendretreat
