FMK and I are off to the airport this morning, we’re heading to Texas for the long holiday weekend. My in-laws have a cabin on a small lake between Houston & Dallas and it is where we have traditionally spent the 4th, but this is the first time we are able to make it back since moving to NYC. Needless to say, we are so excited to pick this tradition back up. (I can’t believe this is our 8th 4th of July together! Where does time go?!)
I am living in my summer dresses that have a little extra room or stretch to them. This stripe dress was a personal favorite pre-bump, and I am trying to get as much use out of it as possible before it doesn’t fit anymore.
A summer hat is an essential for me (and even more so now that I am pregnant). It is so important to protect your skin + I think they are pretty cute!
I love pairing summer dresses with my new rustic booties (last seen here). I had my eye on them for so long and they have been everything I hoped for – a perfect shoe for trekking around the city!
A light weight cross-body bag is my go-to style for Saturday strolls. All I need is my cell phone, a pair of sunnies, my credit card & my subway card, and I am out the door (without any unnecessary weight)!
