I love when a brand you love approaches you about a fun campaign that you can enjoy with your kids. A campaign that really makes you stop and take a moment to think and reflect about being a mom, your love for your children and your hopes for their future.
Today i am partnering with Marc Fisher LTD to style my favorite shoes from their new collection. (I picked these red ones, of course!) The wedge heel is perfect for juggling my style and my boys. And how fun is this bright, fun color for summer? I love how the pop of red adds personality to this classic pinstripe shirt-dress while also keeping it casual to take on any occasion. My life is a constant balance of work and playing with the boys and I love finding styles that can fit with all aspects of my lifestyle.
But this post isn’t just about styling pretty shoes. Marc Fisher LTD’s #MAKEYOURMARC platform is celebrating Mother’s Day by asking moms how we hope our children will make their ‘marc’ in this world. This is something FMK and I have thought about since the moment we found out we were pregnant with our first child, Knox.
We will be sitting together doing something that has nothing to do with our children and one of us will ask the random thought, “Where do you think the boys will go to college?” or “What do you think he will be when he grows up?” Other times we will talk for hours about our hopes and dreams for them both.
In all our conversations about the boys, a few things always remain consistent. We always hope that no matter the path our boys choose, we want them to all make their ‘marc’ on the world by truly being passionate. By this we mean that we always want them to give it their all and put their best foot forward. As their parents we think our boys have so much to offer this world and we don’t ever want to see them sell themselves short. Wether they choose to take an academic route, an athletic route or a purely philanthropic path, may they always know their worth and give it their all to make the biggest ‘marc’ in this world.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this! Drew’s facial expressions are so sweet & I adore baby feet! And how cute is Knox! I am loving his cowboy boots & the little boy bruises on his legs!
