I actually put everything else in my handbag to have when I need a little touch up or when something unexpected comes up during a day I left the house without any makeup. Natural eye shadows, mascara, and a lip stick with just the right amount of color are all I need for a make-over on the go!

Caroline, I absolutely love your blog, but over the past 6-9 months I’ve noticed more and more partnership and sponsorship posts. I realize you need these to run your business, but it is impacting your credibility. For example, you’ve probably posted about 10 different makeup or skincare products in the past 6 months. How does a reader know which you really like? Please take this into consideration otherwise I think you are risking readership. People love your fashion posts, you have amazing style, can you bring back more of that?

As a working mom and small business owner, I do accept sponsorships that allow me to continue running the blog and to provide for my family so I can stay at home with Knox (and baby on the way). However, I am very diligent when deciding what partnerships make sense for myself and my readers. I always make sure I am partnering with brands that I have either used and loved before our partnership or after trying them felt it was something I wanted to share with my readers. I have been a long time fan and customer of Clinique and the partnership seemed fun for my readers because it is about getting to test new products or get free products you already love… and who doesn’t love that?
