TRANSITIONING INTO FALL

I always find this time of year in Houston a little awkward when it comes to getting dressed.  It feels like you can still wear your summer best, but the calendar says it’s October and officially fall so what’s a girl to do?

I like to switch my color palate first.  You can still wear an otherwise easy summer dress, but instead of reaching for your whites and pastels, opt for a fall floral like this one or more jewel tones.  I also live in my denim jacket this time of year.  You may not need it when you are outside during the day, but I am always glad I have it as soon as I step into the A/C!
