Vintage zig zag dress and fringe details street style at New York Fashion Week.

I made it to New York!  If you had asked me on Tuesday, I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off.  I had three video deadlines due (details coming soon!), projects to wrap, a bag to pack, Knox’s schedule while I am away to line up and a million other things running through my head!  But, on Tuesday night, we had somehow got it all under control (except the packing part) and I felt 100 pounds lifted off my shoulders.

Now for the fun part, Knox is happy as can be with his Dad, grandmothers and nanny covering while Mom is away, and I get to focus on being here and enjoying the city and fashion scene.  I am staying in a AirBnB apartment with Mara in Chelsea.  We are officially all settled and hit the ground running on day 1!  I left my room at 8:00am for the first presentation where I got to meet Carrie Underwood, eek!  And didn’t stop until my last show, Marissa Webb.  (I did find an hour after that to get the mani and pedi I so desperately needed, but never had time for in Houston. yay!)

I’ll be sharing a runway report of my favorite looks with you guys next week so stay tuned for a trends round up!  Until then, be sure to follow along on snapchat (house of harper) & instagram for backstage access and runway shows!
