Last week, I shared my Top 10 List for building a lasting wardrobe. And today, I am taking a page out of my own book and styling my favorite basics. I own this blazer in three colors now (camel, red and black). It is such a flattering fit and I love the little popped collar! Even in the summer, this is often my go-to outfit for casual meetings.
These jeans are the Rag & Bone skinny jean, you see them on here a lot in several different washes. I swear by their flattering fit! (I think Alicia & Meghan first told me about them in NYC!) I order them in the ankle length and then don’t even have to alter them.
It is always fun to add a statement bag to a classic outfit. You can add a pop of color or keep it simple. I even love to pair brown and neutral accessories with a black outfit.
I originally purchased these shoes for a style show I was hosting, but ended up keeping them for myself! They looks so cute with denim or dresses for a play on the menswear trend.

Love the classic look on such a classic campus! We used to take our kids there for pictures when they were Knox’s age. If you haven’t discovered it yet, I bet he would love the ‘echo chamber’ in that inner quad near the music school.
Adore this outfit so much – basically is my uniform when I go to France – so simple yet so chic. And yay for R&B denim – seriously the best and 100% hat tip to Alicia and also Grace for revealing their goodness – I’ve been obsessed for years!
