We are still anchored down in Houston after yesterday’s record breaking flooding. Fortunately, our neighborhood is still in tact with little water, but other areas of the city weren’t so fortunate. If the news didn’t make it to your area, here is a little glimpse at what Houston was like yesterday morning. UPDATE: This Thursday’s event has been cancelled due to the Houston flooding. I will keep you updated on a new date as soon as we have one.
These pictures were taken before the rain hit in some of my favorite items for spring / summer! I discovered this short style when I was pregnant (because the elastic waist), but they have remained a wardrobe favorite because it feels like I am wearing work out clothes without looking like it. (Win, win!)
Everyone needs a classic black blouse in their wardrobe to pair with everything from casual shorts and denim to skinny black pants for dressing up. I love this blouse for the longer length in the back and short sleeves (I hate showing my arms).
