I took an unplanned break from social media (and the outside world) this weekend.  I literally didn’t put on make-up or get out of my workout clothes once.  It was the most productive weekend I’ve had in a really long time, but I still feel like I need another week just like it!  Do you ever wish you could just freeze time for everyone else, but you could keep going so when everyone else was unfrozen you would be all caught up and ready to go?

We were planning to drive to my parents house for the night on Sunday.  FMK had a guy’s weekend of golf + dove hunting with my Dad and brother and Knox and I were just going to relax and enjoy being with the family.  But when I woke up in a panic on Sunday morning, stressing over my ever-growing to-do list and deadlines before I leave town for 7 days, FMK knew what was best (for both of us) and offered to take Knox by himself for the day.  So while my boys were having fun without me, I was barreling through my to-do list and taking a deep breath with every item I crossed off!

Have I mentioned my obsession over shift dresses for the second trimester?  (I know I have, but they are just so easy and comfortable.)  This blush pink, floral dress from Anthro is a recent favorite for everyday, work and church.  You will be seeing this one again with a denim jacket and my converse, mark my word.
