One of my favorite things about reaching our one year anniversary is being able to look back on what was happening this time last year. I was reading my last Easter Sunday post before I starting writing this one, and I realized how blessed we are to have found a church family in New York this year. Last year we spent Easter as just the two of us, which was wonderful, but this year we had other young couples from our church to celebrate with.  Of course, we still miss our real family dearly, especially on the holidays.

Being a true southern girl, I had to wear a floral Easter Sunday dress, and lucky for me, Banana Republic had just sent me this beautiful option. Since it is still cool in New York, I paired it with black tights and leopard accessories. (Which I can assure you I would have never done in Texas!) It was the perfect mix of my traditional Easter dress with a splash of New York edge.  I kept my jewelry simple otherthan the pink floral statement necklace.

I hope you all had a lovely holiday weekend with your friends and/or family.
