ASOS Lydia Bright Swing Dress (1)
FMK and I are thrilled to share the exciting news that we will be welcoming baby Knapp into this world in early November! I am so happy to finally be able to share the news with y’all – it has been SO hard to keep this secret!

It is funny how one day you just POP and all of a sudden your clothes don’t fit the same (or at all) anymore. For me, this just happened (I am 16 weeks along). I am sure each month will bring it’s own unique style challenges, but I look forward to learning along the way and sharing my solutions with you!

I think it is too early to start spending money on maternity clothes that you will only be able to wear for 6 months.   So, I am on the lookout for “regular” styles that would work pre and post pregnancy, as well as during.  Take this LBD for example (it comes in cream too), with the pleats and loose fit it will last me several more months (or weeks, at least?!).  Plus, I will still enjoy it post delivery.

I also chose this style because of its versatility.  With this one purchase, you have a LBD for work, a flirty dress for a date night (as styled), and a casual weekend day dress (pair with these booties + a top knot).   It’s a 3-for-1 which is great… pregnant or not!

I made this fun little flipbook to share the movement of the dress. It makes you want to dance as soon as you put it on! Or maybe that is just me because I am so excited to finally share my joy with you!
