Let’s face it, time is a luxury most of us don’t have. Whether you are a working mom or a college student, every minute of our day is usually accounted for and actually having the time to get ready can seem like a luxury. For the times you just don’t have time, here is a 5-minute make-up routine (along with my top three product picks in different price ranges) that is perfect for achieving a fresh natural glow, in a flash!

You can get a head of the game by adding a gradual self tanner for face and body to your daily routine. It creates a healthy glow without the risk of a real tan. It’s quick and it’s easy and it you will be glad you did on those occasions you don’t wear anything else. (Ie. The gym)

Apply a tinted moisturizer for a three-in-one product that replenishes, protects and covers! If you need a little extra help to cover any spots or dark circles, use a concealer, as needed.

Now that you have evened out your skin tone, add a little color and a quick contour with a swipe of bronzer under your cheekbones and around your forehead and jawline. Then, give your cheeks a kiss of color with a light pink or coral blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Now, it’s time to wake up those tired eyes! Limit your eye make-up to a natural shadow all over your eyelids to brighten your eyes and hide any veins and darker skin tone that can appear on your eyelids. Apply from under the brow all the way to your lash line.

The last two steps are my favorite and make the biggest impact! Apply a generous amount of mascara on your lashes. Full eyelashes change the look of your face giving the illusion of bigger, more rested eyes.

The finishing touch may surprise you for a ‘quick routine’, but I promise it is worth the extra minute it takes to apply. Use an eyebrow pencil to fill and sculpt your eyebrows. Well-groomed eyebrows can totally change the shape of your face and even make you look younger. (Did you know thinning eyebrows are one of the first signs of aging?!)

Last, layer on a natural gloss on your way out the door and you’re ready to tackle the day!
