My job allows me to be pretty casual on most days, but I am still a sucker for a cute blazer. Even in the Houston summer, draping a blazer over your shoulders completely elevates your look. I love especially love finding cute tweed jackets that have a Chanel vibe. (Now, I just need to invest in a vintage brooch to add to all my jackets!) And, of course, I live in stripes year around. Several of you have requested that I start to include the location of our photos and this post is definitely worth sharing! Have you heard about the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern at The Water Works? It is a really cool former drinking water reservoir built in 1926 for the City of Houston that was recently restored and is now open to the public! What you see in the pictures is the much-anticipated Down Periscope installation by New York artist Donald Lipski’s, which sits atop the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Through Down Periscope, park visitors are able to peer into the 87,500-square-foot expanse of the Cistern below. Another exciting addition for the Buffalo Bayou Park!
