Believe it or not, our apartment lease expires soon. (I mean really. Where does the time go?!) Which has got me thinking. Could I find something BETTER for CHEAPER out there? This is not an easy question to answer in New York City. Finding that perfect apartment usually means sacrifice.
As I have started to casually browse around online, I find myself thinking of all the things I could change about a space to make it better. Now, if only I can talk the landlord into making these investments in his property so we can start packing.
Now this is a studio loft I could get use to.
The stark white contrast with the dark wood floors makes the small space feel bigger.
The lucid coffee table and sleek desk don’t overcrowd this small living space.
An open modern stair case leaves room for a desk or small kitchen table below.
I am a sucker for a fireplace. Functional or not.
Exposed beams make this high ceiling feel cozy.
Plenty of closet space, but nowhere to work? Not a problem.
I love the idea of pulling out your favorite pieces and using them as decoration in your bedroom.
This white portable closet is the perfect storage solution. Plus, it looks chic.
A bedroom you would never have to leave.
