Since it is raining again today in New York, I couldn’t get out to snap any new outfit post.  Instead, it was the perfect day for staying indoors to catch up on some spring cleaning and to give you another glimpse into our apartment.

I love being able to share a little more of my personal style with you by letting you “behind the scenes” (if you will) into the apartment I share with my amazing husband.  Since I could show you the entire apartment in just a few blog post if I posted by room, I am going to attempt to keep you in suspense a little by showing you a sneak peak of our bedroom/office.

These pictures are taken of a corner in our bedroom where we have a “desk” that was actually used as a night stand in our town-home in Dallas.  Hey, it is a sacrifice you make to live in New York City.  This was originally set up to be a place for me to work from home, but more often than not, you can find me on the couch with my laptop.  However, when I really need to knock something out, this is the best place to do it because I can close the door and be free from distractions.

Surround yourself with things that make you happy in your work place.  After all, if you have to work, you might as well be able to look at things that make you smile, right?  For me, it is fresh flowers and pictures from one of the happiest days of my life, our wedding day.

Until next time,
