If you are still planning your Easter table setting for this weekend, we have you covered!  With a quick flower run to your local grocery store (I always find Central Market to have the best selection around me.), a pastel bowl of chocolate covered eggs (ours are from William-Sonoma) and hand painted eggs for place cards (don’t worry, they don’t have to be as perfect as ours created by our talented friend, Nancy) you will be ready for Sunday brunch in no time!

The best part about being back in Texas is that we get to celebrate the holidays with our families.  And with both our parents less than three hours away, most holidays we can see everyone.  This year will be especially fun to see little Andrew partake in the activities.  He loves a good game of chase so I bet he thinks the Easter egg hunt is pretty fun, too!

For our table setting, we wanted to keep it simple with our every day white dishes and our favorite gold flatware.  I matched the pastel green napkins to a vase I already had and the little birds’ nests were the perfect finishing touch.  The talented Nancy hand painted our eggs, but I think it would be so fun to let everyone decorate their own pacesetting.  For the flowers, I stuck with our pastel color palate and picked up my favorite spring bundles, tulips and renauculas, at Central Market.
